Vestry Meeting Minutes

Ilmer 1929. Parish. The combined Easter Vestry meeting and meeting of Parochial Electors was after due notice held in the Parish Room on Tuesday April 2nd at 6.15 p.m. Present, The vicar in the chair, Mr S.G. Boswell Church warden, Mrs S.G. Boswell, Mr Wm Harper, Mr Claud Everitt.

The minutes of last meeting were read & approved. The vicar nominated Mr S.G. Boswell as his churchwarden for the ensuing year. Mr Boswell moved & Mr Claud Everitt seconded that Mr William Harper be elected peoples warden. Mr Harper accepted office.

The vicar intimated that at the meeting of Parochial Electors for the Parish of Horsenden, Mr Jaques, Miss Gambell & Mr Boswell had been appointed to represent the united Parish on the R.D. Conference. Mr Boswell had been appointed representative of the united Parish on the R.D. Board of Missions.

As in the previous Nine years all communicants were appointed members of the Parochial Church Council. Mr Boswell agreed to continue to act as Secretary.

This was all the business.
