Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Meeting on 23rd Mar 1970.

ANNUAL PARISH MEETING HELD IN LONGWICK VILLAGE HALL ON MONDAY 23RD MARCH 1970 at 7.30 p.m.

Present. Cllrs Brock, Walker, Underwood, Angus & Thomas. Absent. Apologies Cllrs Gomme & Tapping. Minutes. Minutes of previous meeting read and confirmed.

Matters Arising. Proposed Electricity Sub. Station. It was now known that the Electricity Sub. Station would not after all be at Longwick. A letter of thanks to Mr Rupert Lawrence for his advise and help in this matter was proposed by Cllr Walker.

Wing Airport. Although still in the balance, Foulness was now thought to be the probable site for the airport.

No Other Business.
