Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Meeting on 25th Mar 1946.

ANNUAL PARISH MEETING 1946 Annual Parish Meeting held in the Schoolroom, Longwick on Monday March 25th 1946 at 7 pm. To read and confirm Minutes of Meetings. Consideration of any other business which may be brought before the Meeting. Present:- Messrs Wm A. Walker (Chairman) H. W. Lewis. F. Williams. W. J. Harper A. J. Goodchild. E. J. Girling and the Clerk.

Minutes The Minutes of Parish Meetings held on May 7th 1945 and March 13th 1946 were read and confirmed.

Peace Celebrations Consideration was given as to whether a Parish Meeting should be convened regarding Peace Celebrations on June 8th 1946 and it was agreed that the matter be left in the hands of the Parish Council.

Unsatisfactory State of Ilmer Road Mr. Harper raised the question of the unsatisfactory state of the surface of Ilmer Road. It was felt that the question should be referred to the Parish Council. There being no other business brought before the meeting, the meeting then closed. Fred Williams 29/4/46
