Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council on 2nd Feb 1965.

LONGWICK. CUM. ILMER PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD LONGWICK VILLAGE HALL TUESDAY 2ND FEBRUARY 1965 at 7.0 p.m.

Present Cllr Walker Cllr Harper, Gomme, Tapping Mrs Brock Miss Wootton Absent. Apologies for absent Cllr Leuw. Mins. Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

No 80 Bus. Cllr Wootton seconded Cllr Brock & requested a letter to the Thames Valley Bus company that the 2 o'clock No 20 Bus to Wycombe should wait for connection with the 2 o'clock bus No 80 from Longwick to Risborough carried.

Speed Limit It was announced that the 40 mph speed limit had been passed.

Meadle Pond Following Mr Hazeltine's refusal to sell a piece of his land for an ejector pumping station, the council had given permission to Wycombe R.D.C. to use the Meadle pond site for this purpose. Also that following a further request from Mr Butler of Meadle to buy the pond it was proposed Cllr Walker seconded Cllr Gomme that he would be allowed to take the

part of the pond not used by the ejector station from the parish council provided he paid all legal costs and the district Valuers price.

High Hedge. A letter to Mr Nobbs as to the height of the hedges at the T junction of bar lane at owlswick end was asked for.

Precept Proposed Cllr Walker seconded Cllr Wootton the council precept for £20.
