Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council on 25th May 1964.
LONGWICK. CUM-ILMER PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD VILLAGE HALL MONDAY 25TH MAY 1964 at 7.30 p.m.
Present. Cllr Leuw, Gomme, Harper, Tapping. Mrs Wootton. Absent. Apologies for absence for Cllr Walker & Mrs Brock. Mins Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Election of Officers Cllr Leuw, seconded Cllr Wootton that Cllr Harper be re-elected Chairman Cllr Gomme seconded Cllr Tapping that Cllr Brock be re-elected Vice Chairman Carried.
Main Drainage A letter was read from the Engineer & Surveyor stating that a design for Main Drainage scheme for Longwick was being commenced. and it was hoped that a start could be expected in the autumn of 1965.
Ilmer Road. The chairman informed the meeting that £500 had been allocated for work on Ilmer Road.
Mill Stream Bridge Cllr Gomme asked if a letter could be sent to Mr Frankland as to the narrowness of the bridge over the Mill stream also that the parapet was daily slipping away into the stream, a reminder for the 40 p.m.h. speed limit signs was asked for as well.
Finance Proposed Cllr Leuw seconded Cllr Gomme that the annual subscription to the Bucks Assc. of Parish Councils be paid £3 . 14 . 2. Carried
