Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council on 1st Apr 1964.

LONGWICK. CUM. ILMER PARISH COUNCIL Meeting held Village Hall Wednesday 1st April 1964 at 7.0 p.m.

Present. Cllr Harper, Leuw, Gomme, Tapping, Mrs Brock & Miss Wootton. Absent An apology for absence Cllr Walker. Mins. Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

1d Rate A query on the 1d rate. as the parish council precept for £25. and the 1d rate is said to bring in £88 what happens to the other £63. the clerk was asked to write to Mr Crisp.

Litter Bin at Meadle Cllr Brock informed the meeting that the litter bin which was placed on an electric light pole at Meadle was no longer there owing to a new pole being erected, and that as it was never used suggested it be placed at the Longwick cross roads bus stop.

Finance The following accounts were settled Clerks Salary Dec to March £4 - 0 - 0 together with 7/0 Postage and 5/0 Ocean Ins. The cost of Hiring the Village Hall 18/- for two meetings @ 9/- a meeting.
