LONGWICK-CUM-ILMER PARISH COUNCIL Meeting held schoolroom Longwick 7.30. Monday 18th February 1963
Present Cllr Harper, Leuw, Tapping, Wootton, Brock.
Absent. A letter of apology for absence from Cllr Gomme
Mins Minutes of the last meeting read and confirmed
Meadle Pond A further letter of complaint re the willow trees, owing to continuous bad weather the Chairman had not visited Mrs Hamilton Jenkins, to arrange for removal of some of the trees.
Sign for Ilmer Church As a more standard type of sign for Ilmer vill. was under consideration it shouldn't involve much trouble to include church on it as well.
School Bus. It was reported that since the complaint to the Ed. Officer the bus was running a better service though not to a strict time table.
Mr Neale v. Mr Pettigrove The Clerk read a letter of complaint from Mr Neale of Chadwell Hill Farm, that Mr Pettigrove also called his property Chadwell Hill, and was causing annoyance by sawing wood. A letter from the Clerk of Wycombe Rural Dist Council re the complaint said there was nothing his council could do as regards the same address as that area was known as Chadwell Hill, but would investigate the annoyance of sawing wood.
Precept It was agreed the clerk apply for £20 precept.
Accounts Clerks salary for Nov, Dec, Jan. £3 - - together with £1 . 1 . 10. for Charles Knight Printers and 6/- postage.
