LONGWICK-CUM-ILMER PARISH COUNCIL Meeting held in School room Longwick 17th Oct 1960 at 7.30 pm

Present C Harper C Claydon C Brock C Tappin C Gomme C Walker.

Minutes The minutes of the last meeting were read and matters arising dealt with

Meadle Pond It was proposed by C Walker and seconded by C Tappin that the bill for work performed on the Parish pond at Meadle should be paid. The sum being £1-15-0 Carried

General It was decided that the clerk should write to Wycombe RDC and remind them of the proposal to supply the parish with litter bins also pointing out the need for main drainage in the parish, bearing in mind that a number of houses in this parish still have only bucket lavatories

Roads The clerk was instructed to contact Mr Nobbs and point out the need for the replacement of the "cats eyes" in the roads, removed during the re surfacing recently carried out. The clerk was also instructed to stress the need for warning

reflectors at Little Horsendon Railway bridge.

Ivy House Farm The public meeting with regards Planning permission for building on land adjoining Ivy House Farm was discussed, and it was decided that no useful purpose would be served by sending a representative from this council Meeting closed 8.15 pm W. J Harper 23 / 1 / 61
