Mins The mins of last meeting were read and confirmed

School Bus The clerk was instructed to write to the Education Authorities and request that the school bus should go right down into Ilmer village instead of turning at Ilmer Turn

Post Box It was proposed by Councillor Gomme and seconded by Councillor Tappin that a request should be made for an additional Post box in Longwick. The site suggested was in Lower Icknield Way, between the Sportsmans Garage and the "Duke of Wellington" Public house, Carried

Meadle It was proposed by Councillor Brock and seconded by Councillor Claridge that the clerk should write to Wycombe RDC regarding the widening of the junction of Stockwell Lane with Kimble Rd, cutting back the grass triangle. It was also proposed that a hard stand should be made at the Meadle bus stop in Kimble Rd Carried

Street Lighting The recent proposal by Wycombe RDC to apply for an order investing them with powers to enable them to act as lighting authority for the whole rural district was discussed. The feeling of the Council was that a meeting should be held by Wycombe RDC with representatives of Parish councils to discuss this matter. The clerk was instructed to convey these sentiments to the Rural D.C.

Finance It was agreed that a precept for the sum of £20 for 1961/2 should be served on Wycombe RDC. It was proposed by Councillor Brock and seconded by Councillor Tappin that the clerks salary for the months of Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec 1960 ie £5-0-0 plus postage of 4/11 and insurance premium of 10/- should be paid Carried
