Mins Minutes of last meeting read and confirmed

Meadle Pond Councillor Harper reported to the Council the results of a meeting at Meadle with Mr Nobbs Div Surveyor WRDC regarding the future of the Parish pond at Meadle. It was agreed that the pond should be retained as parish property & that arrangements should be made to have it trimmed and tidied up once or twice a year.

Bus Service Owing to the proposed increase in charges and fares by the TVTC, and in accordance with a letter received from Mr Rysdale of WRDC it was agreed that the clerk should write to WRDC & point out the need for an improvement in the Bus Service between Longwick and P Risboro. also pointing out that Owlswick & Meadle are badly in need of a service of some description

Street naming It was agreed that the clerk should write to WRDC and request that the road between the "Red Lion" Longwick and the "Duke of Wellington" now known as Station Rd should be re-named Chestnut Way.

War Memorial Councillor Harper pointed out that the War Memorial was badly in need of renovation he would undertake to see it was cleaned and the railings given a coat of paint

Ilmer Church It was proposed by C Claydon and seconded by C Tappin that the clerk should write to Mr Nobbs Div Surveyor and ask for a sign to be attached to Ilmer signpost showing the way to St Peters Church Carried

Finance It was proposed by C Tappin seconded by C Gomme that the clerks salary for April May June July 1960 £4-0-0 should be paid also Postage 3/5 and Insurance 5/- Carried
