Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council meeting held at 7-30 pm 26th March 1959 Schoolroom Longwick

Minutes Minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed
Drainage It was proposed by Cl Claridge senconded Cl Walker that the clerk should write to the Road Surveyor regarding the state of the road through Ilmer and also in Bar Lane, in both cases a better drainage system would seem to be necessary Carried
Meadle Pond It was proposed by Cl Walker and seconded by Cl Claridge that the Chairman Cl Harper should go to Meadle to ascertain exactly what has been done to Meadle Pond. Carried
Assoc of Parish Councils It was agreed the clerk should write to Mr Stokes and respectfully decline the invitation to the Annual Dinner, at the same time returning 2 tickets sent by him
Assoc of Parish Councils It was agreed the clerk should write to Mr Stokes and
request him to send details of the Conference to be held at Oxford 18th 19th April with a view to a Councillor attending for one day only.
Telephone Kiosk It was proposed by Cl Claydon seconded by Cl Walker that the clerk write to the Post Office regarding the condition of the telephone kiosk in Longwick Carried
Salary It was proposed by Cl Walker seconded Cl Claridge that the clerk be paid six months salary £6-0-0 and 3/- postage Carried
