Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council meeting held at 7-30 pm 12th Feb 59 Schoolroom Longwick

Present Chairman Councillor Harper Councillors Williams Tappin Girling

Minutes Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed

Meadle Pond It was proposed by Councillor Williams and seconded by Councillor Tappin that the Clerk should write to Mrs Hamilton-Jenkins of Meadle regarding Meadle Pond

Finance It was proposed by Councillor Williams seconded by Councillor Tappin that the sum of £20-0-0 would be required for 1959-60

Footpaths It was proposed by Councillor Tappin seconded Councillor Williams that the Clerk should write to the County Council and state the need for a footpath from the Public House called the Red Lion to the Duke of Wellington. The Council would also like to know the position regarding Public Footpath no 21 at Meadle. The Council were also agreed that Footpaths no 4 & 29 as

mentioned in the County Councils letter of the 1st Dec 1958 should be shown on the Definitive map as continuing to the hard road
