Minutes The minutes of the last meeting were read & confirmed.

Report on meeting over Bus turning The Clerk gave a full report on the meeting of the Chairman, himself, the Bucks C.C. Divisional Surveyor, the Superintendent of the Police, & the Thames Valley Traffic Superintendent, but stated that no definite conclusion was reached, though there was a possibility that a change of turning might be made if the Rural District Council & the County Council could come to an agreement about the use of the road in front of Blenheim Place. Councillor Mrs Walker informed the Council that this was still under discussion between the R.D.C. and C.C. It was proposed & carried that details be displayed by the Clerk about the present position of a bus shelter.

Survey of footpaths The Clerk informed the Council that following a letter received from the Bucks County Council informing him that the R.D.C. were not willing to undertake the Survey; the Chairman had decided

to agree to carrying out the Survey on the terms offered in the County Council letter. The County Council had then after some delay forwarded the maps & with them forms which had to be filled in regarding the condition of the footpaths. Such was the nature of the forms, one of which the Clerk read to the Council, that the Chairman was now very doubtful whether the Council should undertake the Survey. After considerable discussion it was proposed Councillor Mrs Walker and seconded Councillor D. Claydon that the Clerk write to the Bucks County Council informing them that the Council did not consider that they either could or would be able to carry out such a comprehensive survey, though they were still willing to mark the maps. This was carried.

Delegates to Annual Meeting of Parish Councils Association It was proposed Councillor Mrs Walker, and seconded Councillor Girling and carried that the Chairman & Councillor Ancliffe should attend as delegates to the annual meeting of the Parish Councils Association in Aylesbury on Saturday October 21st 1950.

Civil Defence The Clerk read a letter to the Chairman from the Wycombe R.D.C. on Civil Defence. After a full discussion it was decided to let this matter lie on the table.
