Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council on 30th Jun 1947.

Meeting of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council held in the Schoolroom, Longwick on Monday June 30th 1947 at 8 pm. To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting. Payment of accounts. Consideration of repairs needed to footbridge at Longwick. Present:- Councillors W. J. Harper (Chairman). A. J. Goodchild, D. Claydon F. Williams D. M. Walker & the Clerk.

Apology for absence Apology for absence was received from Councillor H. W. Lewis.

Minutes The Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

Report re Meeting Parish Councils Association Councillor Harper gave a brief report of the meeting held at Aylesbury regarding the formation of a County Association of Parish Councils for Buckingham.

Payment of accounts Proposed by Councillor Walker seconded by Councillor Goodchild that a Cheque be drawn in favour of Mr Robert Bailey for £1/5/- in payment of One Quarters Salary as Clerk to 24th June 1947. Carried.

Repairs to foot bridge across stream on footpath Longwick to Owlswick Consideration was given to repairs needed to the foot bridge which leads across the stream on footpath, from Longwick to Owlswick. Proposed by Councillor Goodchild seconded by Councillor Claydon that Messrs J. Walker & Son be asked to arrange for the necessary repairs to be carried out. Carried. W J Harper 29/9/47.
