Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council on 30th Sep 1946.

Meeting of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council held in the Schoolroom, Longwick on Monday Sept 30th 1946 at 8 pm. To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting. Appointment of a Trustee to Princes Risborough Charities. Payment of accounts. Consideration of overgrown hedge at the corner of Bar Lane. Present:- Councillors F. Williams (Chairman). W. J. Harper H. W. Lewis. E. J. Girling, D. Claydon D. M. Walker and the Clerk.

Minutes The Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

Trustee to Princes Risborough Charities Proposed by Councillor Harper seconded by Councillor Lewis that Mr. Wm A. Walker be re-appointed as Trustee to Princes Risborough Charities his previous term of office having expired. Carried.

Payment of accounts Proposed by Councillor Lewis seconded by Councillor Claydon that the following accounts be passed for payment:- Mr H. R. East, Employers Liability Insurance 10/-d Robert Bailey One Quarters Salary as Clerk to 29/9/46 £1-5-0 Carried.

Overgrown hedge Bar Lane Corner Longwick. It was agreed that the Clerk communicate with the Wycombe R.D. Council Housing Committee asking them to arrange to have the hedge laid at the corner of Bar Lane, Longwick on their new housing estate, to allow a clear vision for traffic approaching the corner.
