Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council on 24th Apr 1945.

The Annual Meeting of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council was held in the Schoolroom, Longwick on Tuesday April 24th 1945 at 8 pm. To appoint a Chairman & Vice Chairman for the ensuing year. To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting. To appoint two Representatives to serve on the Rating and Valuation Committee of the Wycombe R.D.C. for the ensuing year. Present:- Councillors Wm A. Walker (Chairman). H. W. Lewis, E. J. Girling. A. J. Goodchild and the Clerk.

Chairman Proposed by Mr A. J. Goodchild seconded by Mr. E. J. Girling that Councillor Wm A. Walker be re-appointed Chairman for the ensuing year. Carried

Vice-Chairman Proposed by Councillor H. W. Lewis seconded by Councillor E. J. Girling that Councillor H. S. Pope be re-appointed Vice Chairman for the ensuing year. Carried.

Minutes The Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

Representatives to serve on the Rating & Valuation Committee of the Wycombe R.D.C. Proposed by Councillor Lewis seconded by Councillor E. J. Girling that Councillors Fred Williams and A. J. Goodchild be re-appointed to serve as Representatives on the Rating and Valuation Committee of the Wycombe R.D. Council for the ensuing year. Carried.

Troops Comfort Fund & Post War Fund for troops Matters relating to the Longwick Troops Comfort Fund and Post War Fund were discussed, and the Council were of an opinion that no action should be taken by the Parish Council regarding the administration of the Funds. Wm A Walker
