Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council on 2nd Mar 1945.

Meeting of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council held in the Schoolroom, Longwick on Friday 2nd March 1945 at 7.30 pm. To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting. Nomination of Parish Constables. Payment of accounts. To fix date & time for Annual Parish Meeting to be followed by a meeting of the Parish Council. Present:- Councillors Wm A. Walker (Chairman) H. S. Pope, W. J. Harper, F. Williams and the Clerk.

Apology for absence Apology for absence received from Councillor. H. W. Lewis.

Minutes The Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

Parish Constables Proposed by Councillor H. S. Pope seconded by Councillor W. J. Harper that the out going Parish Constables be re-nominated for the ensuing year, namely:- Messrs Owen Goodchild, Fred Williams, Harry Goodchild, Owen Tapping and Ernest Thos Rutland. Carried

Payment of Accounts Proposed by Councillor W. J. Harper seconded by Councillor F. Williams that the following accounts be passed for payment:- "Logonia" Premium on Clerks Bond 3/-d. Messrs James Walker & Son. Repairs to Foot-path leading from Longwick to Bledlow £2/11/- Robert Bailey. Quarters Salary as Clerk to 25/12/44 £1-5-0 Audit Stamp 1943/44 a/c's 5/- Total Cheque to Bailey £1-10-0. Carried

Date of Annual Parish Meeting It was agreed that the Annual Parish Meeting be held at the Schoolroom, Longwick on Tuesday March 27th 1945 at 7.30 pm to be followed by a meeting of the Parish Council.

Financial Statement year ending 31/3/44 The Financial Statement of accounts for the year ending March 31st 1944 as certified by the Auditor was laid before the meeting. Wm A Walker
