Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council on 13th Nov 1944.

Meeting of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council held in the Schoolroom, Longwick on Monday November 13th 1944 at 7 pm. To read and confirm Minutes of the last meeting Consideration of the following matters:- Repairs to foot-path leading from Longwick to Bledlow near the residence of Mr. J. Redrup. Repairs to foot bridges Barnes Field and Meadle. Repairs needed to Stile on allotments belonging to Robert White Payment of accounts. Present:- Messrs Wm A. Walker (Chairman) H. S. Pope A. J. Goodchild Wm J. Harper F. Williams Edward J. Girling, H. W. Lewis and Robert Bailey (Clerk).

Minutes The Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

Repairs to Foot-path Longwick to Bledlow Consideration was given to the repairs needed to the foot path near the residence of Mr J. Redrup. Proposed by Councillor W. J. Harper seconded by Mr H. S. Pope that it be left in the hands of Mr F. Williams to have the necessary repairs carried into effect. Carried.

Repairs to foot bridges Barnes Field & Meadle The repairs needed to foot bridges at Barnes Field and Meadle were considered. Proposed by Councillor E. J. Girling seconded by Councillor Lewis that Mr F. Williams be asked to undertake the repairs. Carried.

Payment of accounts Proposed by Councillor F. Williams seconded by Councillor A. J. Goodchild that Cheques be drawn in payment of the following accounts:- Commons Preservation Society. Annual Subscription 10/6. Robert Bailey. half years Salary as Clerk to 29/9/44 £2/10/-. Repayment of Cash paid for Employers Liability Insurance 10/- Total Cheque to Bailey £3. Carried.

Repairs to Stile The Clerk was asked to communicate with Mr. Robert White respecting repairs needed to Stile on the Allotments. Wm A Walker
