Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council on 19th May 1941.

Meeting of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council held in the Schoolroom, Longwick, on Monday May 19th 1941 at 8 pm. To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting. To consider nominating a person to serve as a member of the Wycombe Rural District Council to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. Wm A. Walker. Present:- Councillors H. S. Pope (in the chair) H. W. Lewis. F. Williams, E. J. Girling, Albert J. Goodchild, W. J. Harper. and the Clerk.

Resignation of Mr W. A. Walker as a Rural District Councillor A letter was received from the Clerk of the Wycombe R.D. Council informing the Parish Council that Mr. Wm A. Walker had resigned from the office of Rural District Councillor for Longwick-cum-Ilmer. Before taking steps to fill the vacancy, his Council will be pleased to consider any recommendation which the Parish Council may desire to make in regard thereto.

Nomination of Mrs Dora Mary Walker to fill the vacancy Proposed by Councillor W. J. Harper seconded by Councillor E. J. Girling, that Mrs Dora Mary Walker, of "The Elms" Longwick, be nominated to fill the vacancy. Carried unan. Wm A Walker Jan 5th 1942
