Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council on 5th Jan 1942.

Meeting of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council held in the Schoolroom Longwick on Monday January 5th 1942 at 7 pm. To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting. Payment of accounts. To appoint a Trustee to Princes Risborough Parochial Charities. Present:- Councillors Wm A. Walker. (Chairman). Albert Jas Goodchild, Wm Joseph Harper, Fred Williams, Herbert Wm Lewis and Robert Bailey (Clerk).

Appointment of Mrs D. M. Walker as a R.D. Councillor The Clerk reported that the Wycombe R.D. Council had agreed that Mrs Dora. M. Walker should be appointed Rural District Councillor for the Parish of Longwick-cum-Ilmer.

Payment of accounts Proposed by Councillor Harper seconded by Councillor Williams that Cheques be drawn in payment of the following accounts:- The Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation Ltd. Employers Liability Insurance 10/-d. The Commons Preservation Society. Annual Subscription 10/6. Robert Bailey. 3. Quarters Salary as Clerk to 25/12/41 £3/15/- Audit Stamps 1939/40 5/-d 1940/41 5/-d Total Cheque to Bailey. £4/5/-. Carried

Appointment of Trustee to Princes Risborough Charities Proposed by Councillor F. Williams seconded by Councillor A. J. Goodchild that Mr Wm A. Walker, be re-appointed a Trustee to the Princes Risborough Charities. Carried

Financial Statement year ending 31/3/40. The Financial Statement of accounts for year ending March 31st 1940 as certified by the auditor were laid before the meeting. Wm A Walker
