Meeting of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council held in the School, Longwick on Monday December 30th 1935 at 7 pm. To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting. Correspondence. Demolition Orders re Parish Cottages. Payment of accounts. Present:- Councillors Wm A. Walker (Chairman) F. Williams A. J. Goodchild, W. J. Harper. H. S. Pope and Robert Bailey (Clerk)

Footpaths at Ilmer A letter was received from Mr Douglas Goodchild respecting obstructions to foot paths at Ilmer, apologizing for not having attended to the matter, and promising to insert stiles, in the fence, as soon as possible.
Speed Limits & Street Lighting A communication was received from the Clerk to the Bucks County Council re Road Traffic Act 1934 Section 1. Speed Limits, and asking that in the event of the Council proposing to adopt a system of Street Lighting, a Notice thereof should be given to the County Councils Divisional Surveyor at the earliest possible moment, including all relevant details to enable the matter of the speed limit to be fully enquired into. This applied not only to cases where lamp standards are to be erected, but also to proposals which involve the erection of bracket lamps on existing electricity power poles.
Treasurer to Council. Acknowledgement of appointment Mr Walter Basil Finch, Manager of Lloyds Bank Ltd, Princes Risborough, wrote acknowledging his appointment as Treasurer to the Council in the stead of Mr Bernard Freedurck, retired.
Demolition Orders Parish Cottages The Demolition Orders relating to the Parish Cottages at Ilmer were laid before the meeting, but as the Rural District Council had not yet been able to secure land on which to build Cottages for the re-housing of the Tenants, the matter was left in abeyance.
Payment of accounts Proposed by Councillor A. J. Goodchild seconded by Councillor H. S. Pope that Cheques be drawn in payment of the following accounts:- Wycombe Rural District Council, Rates on Parish Cottages, half year ending March 31st 1936 £1-9-4 Robert Bailey Half years Salary as Clerk to 25/12/35 £2/10/-. Refund of Cash payments made as follows:- Fire Insurance Parish Cottages 15/-. Thatching repairs 2/6 and cleaning out Ditch at Parish Cottages 4/6. Total Cheque £3/2/-. Carried
