Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council on 28th Feb 1936.
Meeting of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Council held in the School, Longwick, on Friday February 28th 1936 at 7 pm. To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting. Letter from Town Planning Officer re Zoning of Allotments. Appointment of Parish Constables. Payment of Accounts. Present:- Councillors Wm A. Walker (Chairman), Ed. J. Girling, A. J. Goodchild, W. J. Harper, H. Rogers, H. S. Pope, F. Williams and Mr. Robert Bailey (Clerk).
Minutes Minutes of last meeting read and confirmed.
Stiles at Ilmer As it was reported that Mr. Douglas Goodchild, had not yet inserted stiles in the Fences on his property as requested by the Council, the Clerk was asked to write to him again on the matter.
Permanent Zoning of Allots A letter was received from the Town Planning Officer, R.D. Council, Wycombe enquiring if the Parish Council was desirous of any of their present Allotments being zoned as permanent Allotments. Proposed by Councillor Pope seconded by Councillor Rogers, that the Clerk reply, stating the Council have no Allotments which they are desirous of being zoned as permanent Allots. Carried
Parish Constables Proposed by Councillor Girling seconded by Councillor Pope, that the following persons, be nominated to serve as Parish Constables for the ensuing year. Messrs Fred Dimains, Owen Goodchild, Harry Goodchild, William Frederick King, Charles Tucker and Ernest Thomas Rutland. Carried
Payment of Accounts Proposed by Councillor Harper seconded by Councillor Goodchild, that Cheques be drawn in payment of the following accounts:- Logonia Premium on Clerks Bonds 1936 3/-d. Commissioners of Inland Revenue, Sch. A. Tax 1935/6 on Parish Cottages, Ilmer £1-0-3. Carried
Foot path Longwick It was reported that the foot path near the stile leading to Bledlow, from the lane, near the Grove Longwick, needed attention, and it was decided for the Councillors to inspect, and arrange for any repairs necessary to be done. H. S. Pope. Mch. 23rd 1936.
