Vestry Meeting Minutes
Oct. 25. 1932. A meeting was held on this date & among those present were the Vicar (chair), Mr A Goodchild & Mr W. Harper (wardens), Mr & Mrs Claydon, Mr & Mrs Quint, Miss Ada Stone, Mr & Mrs Pursell, Mrs A. Kingham, Mrs West, Mr & Mrs Pyke.
The Vicar reported that he had heard from Mr Goodchild that the profits of the recent Rummage Sale were £17. Some discussion followed as to the allocation of this sum & it was eventually decided unanimously that the whole sum should be allocated to the care of the churchyard. The profit on the Whist Drive at Ilmer House was £7 & with one dissentient the whole of this sum was allocated to the Mothers Union (Ilmer Branch).
The Vicar raised the subject of a memorial window in memory of Mrs Jaques & it was resolved unanimously to erect such a window if sufficient funds could be raised in donations from those who wished to participate. The meeting was then thrown open to all who wished to take part in the matter.
This was all the business.
