Vestry Meeting Minutes

Jan 18. 1931. A meeting of the Parochial Electors was held on this date in the Parish Church. The Vicar stated that a meeting at Horsenden had appointed representatives to the ruridecanal bodies & added that if the Parish was entitled to another member, he would like to propose Mr A. Goodchild as a member of the Ruridecanal Conference. This was agreed to.

The question of the electric light was raised, as it was known that Mr Goodchild was giving up his electric light plant. On the proposition of Mr Harper it was resolved that the Vicar & Mr Goodchild be empowered to make the best arrangements they could with the Aylesbury Corporation or Mr Rolfe as electrician.

The meeting decided that the services in the afternoon (instead of the eveng) should be continued through February. The Vicar stated that there was a balance of about £3 on the Church expenses account for 1930.
