Vestry Meeting Minutes

A meeting of the Parochial Church Council was held in the Church Hall on June 16th 1924. Present the Vicar in the chair, Mr & Mrs Fritz Kingham, Mrs Boswell, Miss Richards, Mr W Kingham, Mr Ward, Mr Sidney G Boswell.

The accounts for the past year were submitted & passed. As vouchers was absent the vicar promised to let me have a duplicate - a small deficit of £1-10-9 was met by a donation from the proceeds of a Jumble Sale.

Mr Boswell drew attention to the untidy condition of the churchyard & proposed a hope that steps should be taken to remedy this. Mr Fritz Kingham promised to mow the grass as soon as possible but the meeting felt that further steps should be taken. No definite conclusion was arrived at but it was remitted to the vicar & churchwardens to confer & report to a subsequent meeting.

The meeting then closed.
