Vestry Meeting Minutes

A meeting of the Parochial Church Council was held in the Parish Hall on July 12/1923. The Vicar in the chair - also present Mr Fritz Kingham, Mrs Claydon, Miss Claydon, Miss Richards, Mrs Kingham & Mr Sydney G Boswell.

It was reported that the sum of £2-12-8 was the balance in hand of Church close fund. An a/c for church repairs from Mr Smith Haddenham of £2 was submitted for payment. It was decided to meet the same by using the balance of the Church Close Fund & borrowing £4-10-4 from the Piano Fund. It was proposed to have a rummage sale to return the sum borrowed from the Piano Fund.

The vicar mentioned that a R D festival was to be held at Prestwood on Sept 16th when an effort was to be made to raise funds for missions...

The meeting then closed.
