Vestry Meeting Minutes

Parochial Church meeting. 1921. A social gathering was held in the Church Hall on Thursday evening January 12th.

In the course of the proceedings the vicar explained the workings of the act regarding Parochial Ch. Meetings & Parochial Church Councils. Although Ilmer is a very small Parish yet he thought it desirable to bring it into line with all other parishes in England. The purpose of which act... that Notice had been given that the Parish Church meeting should be held that night - for the purpose of electing Parochial Church councillors.

Mr Fritz W. Kingham moved & Mr Jaques seconded a motion that all communicants over the age of 21 should act as Parochial Church Councillors.

This was all the business.
