MINUTES OF THE EXTRAORDINARY PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 2nd JANUARY 2018 AT 5.30 PM AT THE PRINCES CENTRE PRINCES RISBOROUGH

1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

No apologies were received.

2. MINUTES

The Minutes of the previous meeting of the Parish Council on the 19th December 2017 having been circulated were approved by the Meeting and signed by the Chairman.

3. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

Members were asked to declare any personal interest and the nature of that interest which they may have in any of the items under consideration at this meeting. None were declared.

4. ADOPTING A NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN

The Longwick-cum-Ilmer Neighbourhood Plan (submission version August 2017) has been examined by Jill Kingaby, the independent examiner appointed by Wycombe District Council. She has made a small number of recommendations to modify some policies and text to ensure that the Plan meets Basic Conditions and other legal requirements, and then recommends that the Plan proceeds to referendum.

The recommendations are acceptable to Wycombe District Council, to the Parish Council's professional adviser Louise Thomas and to the parish councillors who sit on the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group.

Cllr Jane Rogers proposed that the Parish Council accept the Neighbourhood Plan (submission version August 2017) as modified by the independent Inspector's recommendations, advise Wycombe District Council accordingly and request that a referendum on the Neighbourhood Plan be arranged as soon as possible. Seconded by Cllr Sally Whitworth. All present agreed. VM

The next meeting of the Parish Council will take place on Tuesday 16th January 2018 in Longwick Village Hall at 7.30 pm. There being no further business to discuss the Meeting closed at 5.50pm.
