LONGWICK-CUM-ILMER PARISH COUNCIL Meeting held in Schoolroom Longwick at 7-30 pm Monday 28th May 62
Present Councillor Harper, Mrs Brock Cllr Gomme Cllr Tappin Cllr Wootton
Absent Apology for absence from Cllr Walker
Clerks replacement The chairman informed the meeting that the clerks position was still vacant. Mr Chivers agreed to carry on until a replacement could be found.
Election of Officers It was proposed by Cllr Brock and seconded by Cllr Wootton that Cllr Harper continue as Chairman Carried It was proposed by Cllr Tappin and seconded by Cllr Gomme that Cllr Mrs Brock continue as Vice-Chairman Carried
Street Name Signs The clerk was instructed to write to WRDC and remind them that street name plates had still not been erected in spite of their promise in Sept 1961
30 mile Speed Limit The clerk was instructed to write to the Bucks County Council and stress the need for a speed limit through the village of Longwick. pointing out the vastly increased flow of traffic since the last application. Meeting closed at 8.25 pm W J Harper 30/7/62
