Election of Chairman & Vice Chairman The Chairman vacated the chair & the clerk asked for nominations for the Post as Chairman it was Proposed Councillor Girling Seconded Councillor Claridge that Councillor Harper be Chairman for the year 1952/53 Proposed Councillor Claridge Seconded Councillor Girling that Councillor D Claydon be Vice Chairman Carried

Correspondence The Clerk Read a letter from Bucks association of Parish Council Giving advise on 30 MPH speed limit. It was Proposed Councillor F Williams Seconded Councillor Claridge that we make an application to County Highways authority For the 30 MPH speed limit to be imposed From Sportmans Garage to Rays Farm Carried Proposed Councillor Miss F M Walker Seconded Councillor F Williams the appeal from the Bucks Playing Fields association to lay on table Carried

Election of School manager Proposed Councillor Claydon Seconded Councillor Miss F M Walker, Councillor F Williams be school manager Carried

Elect of Delegates to association of Parish Councils Proposed Councillor Claridge Seconded Councillor Miss F M Walker That the Chairman & Vice Chairman be the Delegates For the year 1952 Carried

after some Discussion it was Proposed Councillor D Claydon Re Telephone Pole Seconded Councillor F Williams, the Clerk to Write the Telephone Eng Oxford asking For the Telephone Pole Obstructing Foot Path near Longwick Post office to be moved Carried

Payment of accounts Proposed Councillor F Williams Seconded Councillor Miss F M Walker the Following accounts be Paid. Shaw & Son Ltd 13/1 Financial Statements Clerks Bond 3/6 Audit Stamp 5/0 affiliation Fees to County association of Parish Councils 1-10-0 Carried

Any other Business It was decided to send Reports of Council meetings to the Local Press Councillor Miss F M Walker Kindly Volunteered to do the Reports

The Council where not Satisfied with the Repairs done to the Ilmer Townray Road. it was Proposed Councillor Claridge Seconded Councillor F Williams, That the Clerk Write & ask County Surveyor to Fix a meeting at Ilmer With Councillor Claridge to go over The Road. Carried

The Clerk Was Instructed to write the Bucks Water Board For additional Hydrants at Owlswick, & Point out the unsatisfactory state of Water Supply at Ilmer.
