In the name of God Amen I Joshua Kingham the
elder of Ilmer in the County of Bucks Husbandman
being sick and weak in body but of perfect and sound
mind memory and understanding and being mindful
of my mortality do hereby make ordain publish and
declare this my last will and testament in writing
as followeth revoking hereby and setting aside all
former and other wills by me made either in
writing or by word of mouth And First and principally
I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God
who gave it me in hopes through the merrits of my
redeemer Jesus Christ to have pardon for all my
sins and to have everlasting life and my body I committ to
the earth to be decently interred at the discretion of my
executor herein after named and as to my temporal estate which


Which it hath pleased the Almighty to enrich me with
I give will and dispose of the same as followeth And First
I give will and bequeath unto my beloved daughter
Mary Kingham the sum of sixty pounds of lawful money
of Great Britain to be paid to my said daughter Mary her
executors or assigns in one year after my decease out
of my personal estate by my executor herein after named
Also I give will and bequeath unto my beloved daughter
Sarah Kingham the sum of sixty pounds of the like
lawful money of Great Britain to be paid unto my
said Daughter Sarah her executors or assigns in two
years after my decease out of my personal estate by
my executor herein after named Also I give will and
bequeath unto my beloved daughter Elizabeth Kingham
the sum of sixty pounds of the like good and lawful money
of Great Britain to be paid to my said Daughter
Elizabeth her executors or assigns in three years after
my decease out of my personal estate by my executor
herein after named Also I give will and bequeath
unto my beloved daughter Hannah Kingham the sum
of forty pounds of the like lawful money of Great Britain
to be paid to my said daughter Hannah her executors or
assigns out of my personal estate in four years after
my decease by my executor herein after named Also I give
will and bequeath unto my beloved daughter Ann West
the sum of Forty pounds of the like lawful money of
Great Britain to be paid to my said daughter Ann her
executors or assigns out of my personal estate by my executor


herein after named in five years after my decease
Also I Give will and bequeath unto my beloved
daughter Jane Kingham the sum of Fifty pounds
of the like lawful money of Great Britain to be
paid to my said daughter Jane out of my personal
estate in six years after my decease by my executor
herein after named Provided always and upon
this condition Nevertheless that if my said Daughter
Jane Kingham shall fortune to decease before she arrives
to the age of twenty one years that then my will and meaning
is And I do hereby give will and bequeath the said sum
of fifty pounds bequeathed into her as aforesaid in manner
following (that is to say) ten pounds thereof unto my
daughter Hannah Kingham aforesaid and ten pounds
more thereof to my said Daughter Ann West to be paid
to my said two daughters Hannah and Ann respectively
in six years after my decease out of my personal estate
as aforesaid and the remaining sum of thirty pounds
out of the aforesaid legacy of Fifty pounds shall go
be and remain in the hands of my executor herein
after named any thing in this my last will contained
to the contrary thereof in anywise notwithstanding Also
my will and meaning is that my said daughter
Jane Kingham shall have free liberty and priviledge
to dwell and inhabit with my executor herein after named
and to partake of his common Meat drink washing
lodging and apparel fitting for a person of such a degree
until she arrives to the age of twenty one years if she
shall so long live And lastly I give will and bequeath
unto my beloved son John Kingham (after paying my


Just debts and funeral expenses) all and singular
and every my money apparel stock of corn Grain hay
Implements of husbandry horses cows sheep hogs goods
chattels leases credits and all other my person estate
whatsoever herein before unbequeathed to go be and
remain unto my said son John Kingham his executors
administrators or assigns to his and their own proper use
behoof and disposal And I do hereby charge all and
every my said personal estate with the payment of
the several legacies and payments aforesaid according
to the true Intent and meaning hereof And I do hereby
nominate ordain constitute and appoint my said son
John Kingham to be my sole executor to this my last will
and testament contained in two sheets of paper unto the
first of which I have Set my hand and to the second and
last my hand and seal this twenty second day of
February in the year of our Lord One thousand seven
hundred and seventy nine Joshua Kingham
Signed sealed published and declared by the testator
to be his last will and testament in the presence of us
who have subscribed our names as witnesses to the same
in the presence of the testator and at his request The

mark of Susannah Adams of Ilmer
Henry Lacey of P Risbro


Proved the 6th day of July 1779
before the reverend William Stockins Clerk Surrogate
by the oath of John Kingham the natural and lawful son
and sole executor to whom Adcon was committed
he being first sworn duly to administer
