In the name of God amen I Hannah
Kingham of Ilmer in the County of Bucks
Widow being weak and infirm in body but of
perfect and sound mind memory and
understanding and finding my mortality
Do hereby make ordain publish and declare this
my last Will and Testament in writing as
followeth revoking hereby and setting aside all
former and other wills by me made either in
Writing or by word of mouth And first
and principally I resign my soul into
the hands of Almighty God who gave it me
in hopes through the merits of my redeemer
Jesus Christ to have pardon for all my sins
and to have everlasting life and my body
I commit to the earth to be decently interred
at the discretion of my Executors herein after
named and as to my temporal Estate
which it hath pleased the almighty to
enrich me with I give will and dispose of in
manner and form as followeth And first I
Give will and bequeath to my beloved son
Joshua Kingham and my beloved daughter
Sarah Kingham the sum of one Guinea apiece
of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid
to my said son Joshua and my daughter
Sarah respectively by my Executors herein
after named out of my personal estate in
one year after my decease Also I Give will
and bequeath unto my beloved daughters
Rebecca Newatt and Ann Kingham the sum
of fifty pounds apiece of the like lawful
british money to be paid to my said two
daughters Rebecca and Ann respectively out
of my personal estate in one year after my
decease by my Executors herein after named
Also I Give will and bequeath unto my said
Daughter Rebecca Newatt my Yellow bedstead
Curtains feather bed boulster and two pillows and all
other the bedding and furniture belonging to the
same and also my best oaken chest likewise my
set of red and white China and one pair of sheets
to go be and remain to my said daughter Rebecca
Newatt her Executors and assigns to her and their
own proper use behoof and disposal Also I Give
will and bequeath unto my said daughter Ann
Kingham my brown bedstead curtains feather
bed boulster pillows and all other bedding and
furniture belonging to the same Also I Give
will and bequeath unto my said daughter Ann
my other oaken Chest my set of blue and white
China and one pair of sheets to go be and remain
to my said daughter Ann her Executors and
assigns to her and their own proper use behoof
and disposal Also I Give will and bequeath
unto my beloved son Thomas Kingham my
feather bed bedstead boulster pillow and all other
my bedding and furniture belonging to the
same being the bed whereon he my said son
Thomas usually sleeps upon to go be and remain to my said son
Thomas his Executors and assigns to his and
their own proper use ^behoof and disposal Also I Give
will and bequeath unto my beloved son John
Kingham of Long Wick in the parish of Princes
Risborough in the said County of Bucks
Husbandman and my said son Thomas
Thomas Kingham (after paying my just
debts and funeral expences also the above
mentioned legacies) All and singular and
every my apparel money goods chattels
credits stock of corn grain hay and all other
my personal estate whatsoever herein
before unbequeathed to go be and remain unto
them to be equally divided between them share
and share alike And I do hereby nominate
ordain constitute and appoint my said two
sons John and Thomas to be joint Executors
to this my last Will and Testament contained
in two sheets of paper unto the first of which
I have set my hand and to the last my hand
and seal this twenty fourth day of April
in the year of our Lord one thousand seven
hundred and seventy eight The mark of
Hannah Kingham [Seal] Signed sealed published
and declared by the testatrix as her last Will
and Testament in the presence of us who
have subscribed our names as witnesses to the
same in the presence of the testatrix and at
her request and also these presents being first
interlined in three several places

Proved the 24th. day of April 1790. Before the
Revd William Stockins Clerk Surrogate by the
oath of Thomas Kingham the natural and
lawful son and one of the Executors to whom
Administration was committed he being
