Vestry Meeting Minutes
Ilmer Parish. The Easter Vestry meeting was held in the Vicarage Cottage on Friday the 21st day of April 1922 at 6 p.m. There were present - The Rev. W.M. Tuke, vicar, in the chair; Mr Fritz W. Kingham, Churchwarden.
The vicar explained that he had unfortunately forgotten to bring the minute book with him and it was agreed to postpone reading of the minutes until Sunday Ap. 23rd.
The churchwardens accounts for church Expenses were presented as follows: Coal £1.11, organist £2.10, Bellringer £1, Cleaning Church £3, repairing stove & safe 8/-, oil 1/4, candles 1/-, wood 2/6, washing 6/-, Total £8.12.4. Receipts £8.5.1 leaving a deficit of 7/3. Balance in hand from 1921 12/10, leaving Balance for ensuing year of 5/7. Special Collections amounted to £4.6.6.
The vicar nominated Mr Fritz W. Kingham as his churchwarden. He intimated that Mr Albert Goodchild, Church Farm, was willing to act as peoples warden. It was agreed to ask him to do so.
