Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Meeting on 1st Apr 1964.

Annual Parish Meeting held in Longwick Village Hall Wednesday 1st April 1964. Present Cllr Harper, Leuw, Tapping, Gomme, Miss Wootton & Mrs Brock. Absent An apology for absence Cllr Walker. Minutes Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed

Sewage at Lower Icknield Way. A letter from Mr Adams of 4 Lower Icknield Way was read by the clerk. It stated that for the past year a pool of running water was in the garden next door at No 3. and caused unpleasant smells inside the house as well as out, also saturated the garden. The authorities had been informed and had traced it by using dye to have come from septic tanks of newly built dwellings near by. The clerk was instructed to send the letter plus a complaint from the Council to Mr Daniels Meeting closed 7.20 PM. Dorothy Brock. 31/3/65
