Minutes of the Longwick-cum-Ilmer Parish Meeting on 31st Mar 1948.

ANNUAL PARISH MEETING 1948 The Annual Parish Meeting was held in the Schoolroom, Longwick on Wednesday March 31st 1948 at 8 pm. To read and confirm Minutes of last meeting. Consideration of any Parish business which may be brought before the Meeting. Present:- Councillors William Joseph Harper (Chairman) David Claydon. Albert Jas Goodchild. Fred Williams, Herbert Wm Lewis. Dora Mary Walker. Mrs David Claydon and Mr Robert Bailey. (Clerk)

Minutes The Minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.

War Memorial Longwick A question was asked re the handing over of the War Memorial at Longwick. The Clerk stated that the Parish Council had expressed their willingness for it to be handed over to the Parish Council on behalf of the Parish if the Trustees so desired, and the Trustees wishes were still being awaited.
