Charity Scheme relating to Baptist Chapel Longwick The Secretary to the Charity Commissioners replied re proposed Scheme - Baptist Chapel - that the Council's letter would in due course be submitted to the Commissioners together with the other suggestions which had been received in the result of the publication of the Draft Scheme.

Access Road to Council Houses The Clerk to the Wycombe R.D. Council wrote asking the opinion of the Parish Council and also enquiring if the Council would be prepared to support the Wycombe R.D. Council in their appeal against the stipulation of the County Council that the R.D. Council should provide an Access Road or Waiting Bay for the three pairs of houses which they are constructing in Longwick village. After considering the matter Councillor Harper proposed and Councillor Pope seconded that this Council supports the Wycombe R.D. Council in their appeal against the stipulation of the County Council on the following grounds:- The building of an Access Road by the R.D.C. to the houses in question would be a needless waste of Ratepayers money, as the

passing of traffic on the main road would not be facilitated to any appreciable extent owing to the fact that there is no access road to the adjoining properties, further the houses are of such a type that the occupiers are not likely to own Motor Cars, neither would their means be such as to necessitate the constant calling of tradesmen's vehicles to deliver goods or to solicitate orders, also the traffic along the main road is not sufficiently heavy as to warrant an Access Road being constructed.
