Shelter at Railway Halt The Clerk reported that with reference to the provision of a shelter at the Railway Halt the Secretary of the Railway Company had written to the effect, that the matter had received careful consideration, but, having regard to the very small user by the public of Ilmer Halt at the present time, it is felt that the expenditure involved in the provision of a shelter could not be justified.

Matter to be referred to new Parish Council of Longwick-cum-Ilmer It was agreed that the matter should be referred to the new Parish Council of Longwick-cum-Ilmer as soon as it was possible, to see if they could persuade the Railway Company to re-consider their decision, as it was still felt that a Halt was necessary.

Parish Constables It was agreed that Messrs Harry Goodchild and William Frederick King of Illmire be nominated to serve the office of Parish Constables for the ensuing year.

Accounts Proposed by Mr Harry Goodchild and seconded by Mr George Gomme that the accounts as paid to date by the Treasurer be approved, and that he be authorised to pay any other accounts which may become due to March 31st 1934 and that this meeting authorises the sum of Five shillings to be paid to the Churchwardens of Illmire for use of Parish Room for meetings.
