Ilmer Parish Meeting Minutes
On Tuesday April 4th 1905, a Parish Meeting was held at the house of Mr. Thos. Goodchild. There were present Messrs R. Belgrove, G. Gomme, T. Goodchild & Rev. J.E. Varley
On the proposal of Mr. Belgrove seconded by Mr. Gomme the Rev J.E. Varley was re-appointed Chairman.
On the proposal of Mr. Gomme seconded by Mr. Goodchild Messrs R. Belgrove & Alfred Hill were appointed overseers.
On the proposal of Mr. Goodchild seconded by Mr. Belgrove outgoing overseers were thanked for their services.
Mr. Gomme proposed & Mr. Goodchild seconded that the attention of the Rural District Council be called to the extremely bad state of the road from Illmer to Cold Harbour.
